About Us ! Sommers Harvest & The Wildflower Sommers' Harvest orchard is nestled in the Grand Valley of Western Colorado. We live along the Colorado River between the Book Cliff Mountain range and the Grand Mesa, the largest flattop mountain in the world. The Grand Valley has proved an excellent growing location from when we started in 1985 to today. We started out as a dried and preserved floral business, growing flowers and making potpourri. We hand-crafted barn wood furniture, barbed wire accessories, candles and country critters. Our shop is located behind our home at the foot of the rock formation called the "Palisades" namesake for the town of Palisade, CO. In 2008 Papa Dan, Patrick and Kathy all stay busy picking, sorting and packing the fruit. Then we solar dry our peaches to go straight into our bread mixes and fruit products. Granny Pat & Charlotte make the fruit bread mixes, chocolate dip the dried fruit, make candy, jams and jellies, and arrange fresh flowers at our store located at 3657 G 7/10 Road Palisade, CO 81526 (970) 464-0400 Stop by for a sample! We also carry other Made In Colorado products that are delicious, unique gifts, cards, dried flowers, balloons, candy, jams and jellies, chocolate dipped dried fruit, bread mix, country critters, spa products, candles, mugs,& beautiful dishes. Charlotte makes awesome flower arrangements for special occasions. We arrange flowers for weddings and funerals. We're family owned and operated. We make our bread mixes, candy, jams and jellies, and chocolate dipped dried fruit fresh daily (in season) so you get a quality product every time. We sell fresh peaches in season. We take pride in our peaches and look forward to sharing our mouth-watering fruit products with you this season!
